S2E1: Josh London—Magician & AdWords Expert

Josh London Magician and AdWords ExpertThese are show notes taken from an audio interview. To listen to the actual interview, please use the player above.

Josh is magician that runs the gamut from corporate and high end clients to kid shows. Along his journey in show business, he’s also become an expert in Pay Per Click Marketing.

Josh goes into great detail in the show and talks about his strategy for Google AdWords or Pay Per Click. You won’t want to miss this!

Success Quote:

Life responds to deserve, not need. — Jim Rohn

Failure Moment:

Josh totally couldn’t make it as a hypnotist! He was no good at it and really didn’t like it.

Biggest success:

Josh’s biggest success came when he was flown out for a gig by a company on their private jet.

He’s now added a rider to him contract that the client must secure a private jet for his travel to and from the party, however far away it is. (I’m just kidding about that last line…)

What would he have done differently?

He would have taken acting, improv, and speech classes sooner.

Unique selling point:

Two things: first, all his branding looks professional. He doesn’t use any free site builders or business cards. Everything is professionally done, therefore he looks professional and legit. Second, he tries to add so much value before the prospect buys, it’s almost a no brainer for them to book him!

What’s working for him business-wise?

Google AdWords aka Pay Per Click or PPC. We spend a good amount of time on this topic and there is tremendous value to take away here.

Interesting story:

Hear about when Josh was booked for a show at the House of Blues and what he ordered to eat in the green room!

Has he “made it?”

Yes, so far, Josh has made it, considering he’s done everything he’s wanted to do up to this point.

Other topics touched upon:

• Google AdWords! Josh shares all kinds of great advice here!

• Talks about online marketing in general.

• Find out how Josh has dealt with burnout and why it’s important to have something to do other than magic.

  1. Wow, what a great podcast. Great stuff, Josh. Thanks for sharing. So far, I think Word Swag will change my life…well, that may be going a little far, but I will use it. Great advice.

  2. What a great podcast! I’m in the middle of revamping my website from almost 10 years ago and am reading a lot about SEO. This gave me a lot of insights that the books I am reading didn’t even touch on. Just bought Josh’s book to implement his ideas as well. I can hardly wait for next week. Thanks!
